Three Boys...Just Like Me...Except I Don't Have Twins
This was my first indoor shoot, and I'm so, so happy with how these have been turning out. What could be more fun than three boys? (though I may be biased)
PS Thanks to my awesome client and mom to these three adorable boys, my photos no longer look grey after uploading to Blogger (thanks for the tip!)

Fine Art Cards for Sale
Another shameless plug, but I just added notecards to my etsy shop (Click here). Simple, yet really bold and pretty. I'm selling them in sets of five for $15 - envelopes included. You can either mix and match to make your own set, or use five of the same photograph. I will make ANY of the photographs from my shop into cards.
There. I'm done.

I always wished that I had blue eyes...I guess I'll have to live vicariously through my son. (what kind of a mother am I? Is it just me, or does he ALWAYS have a messy face? :) ) And, sorry to those that also read my family blog. Business is slow, so I've been posting a lot of the same pictures on both. Bear with me!

Cute, Even If I Do Say So Myself
Please excuse me while I post 30 million pictures of my adorable youngest son.
**As a side note, this is the direction that I want to take my photography. While I enjoy doing family portraits, my heart is in photographing children. Someday, I would like to go to people's homes and photograph their children in their natural environments. There is just something so refreshing about the un-posed spontaneity that you can only get in your own home, utilizing beautiful natural light. **

Thanks Again!
My friend and fellow photographer/MBA spouse offered to do a family photo swap. She took photos of my family, and I took photos of hers, and then we did our own post-production processing. These are just a couple from the TONS of pictures I took of this extremely photogenic family. Their little guy was having a hard time that day, but he's still completely adorable.

Playing Around
A quick disclaimer: I didn't actually take this photo, it's from our engagement pictures, taken by our wedding photographer, Matthew Stone. But, I did do the processing in photoshop. That's right PHOTOSHOP. James gets a KILLER student discount on it, (80% off!) and so as a belated Christmas present, we got it. I know, I am so spoiled, but my needs have outgrown Photoshop elements...
Anyways, since I'll be able to produce better quality images post-production, I will be increasing my prices (see sidebar for details). The MBA student discount will remain the same. I will also be offering the option of ordering elargements through me (I will put up a price list ASAP).
The much needed Photoshop how-to books are on the way ( I swear I could single-handedly keep Amazon in business), and so I expect my skills to be much improved in the near future.
But, for a first stab at it, I'm pleased.
